This exceptional, powerful, long on the finish champagne exclusively composed of chardonnay is matured for at least 4 years in our Cellar. The Jewel of the range is only produced in exceptionally good year from grapes that come from a single vineyard. This nectar satisfies the most delicate palates. It has sufficient strength and finesse to be matched with full flavoured dishes.

Rewarded by the French Wine Review Magazine with three stars:

“A matured Champagne, full palate and well balanced"

Our champagne is delivered from the Vineyard in perfect condition, a condition we maintain through a regulated temperature environment.

Victor Pugatschew is one of the most experienced, well respected and knowledgeable Champagne exporters. Champagne Evangelist, he champions the small grower and as such is well liked and respected amongst France’s small vineyard owners. He comments:

Cramant and Chouilly from a great Chardonnay vintage. The 1999 version of this was a rich, unctuous style – that is the characteristic of the 1999 vintage. This 2002 is much more elegant and lively with balanced acidity to counterpoint the intensity of the old vine fruit. The vintage cuvée makes up on average for only 3% of Voirin-Jumel’s overall Champagne production – so there is not much to go around! Dried fruits and minerals on the nose with just a hint of citrus – lead to a long powerfull palate. Pure and weighty old vine intensity here – with finesse to boot! Perfect with prawns, scallops and white meats. Dosage 8g/litre.
