This is a greatcuvée with a newly designed label. A blend of 60% Cramant, with the remainder from Avize, Chouilly and Oger.

Victor Pugatschew is one of the most experienced, well respected and knowledgeable Champagne exporters. Champagne Evangelist, he champions the small grower and as such is well liked and respected amongst France’s small vineyard owners. He comments:

All great Grand Cru vineyards from a blend of 2004 with 2003 reserve wines with a dosage of 8g/litre. 2004 was a great year in Champagne and this cuvée simply oozes quality and finesse. A very fine persistent mousse. Nose shows fresh citrus and dried apple overtones with hints of minerals and white flowers. Palate carries on from the nose showing delicacy and purity.

The style here is a little more forward and approachable at an early age. Quite delightful as an aperitif or with seafood and is a great bargain.
